- Description: Project consists of six typical slab-on-grade residential units that range in size between 1,919 and 2,102 square feet and are located within the boundaries of the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Mechanical designs include gas fired furnaces with outdoor condensing unit, exhaust fans and distribution ductwork. Plumbing designs included domestic water, natural gas and sanitary piping systems.
Maryland Correctional Training Center

- Description: Replacement of aging underground 15KV distribution feeders and switchgear throughout the entire compound that consists of eight (8) inmate housing units, a gymnasium, a dining hall, an administration/chapel building, a medical unit, and three (3) educational buildings. Design needed to reflect the installation of work in phases in order to maintain the operation of the compound at all times.
Maryland School for the Deaf

- Description: Project encompassed the removal of an existing building, re-configuring a portion of facility’s topography and to install new paved areas for vehicular parking and passenger drop-off/pick-up zones. The installation of two (2) electric operated vehicular barrier gates was also a part of the project’s scope. Electrical design tasks included exterior pathway and roadway lighting, branch circuit wiring and controls for lights, branch circuit wiring for vehicular barrier gates, and the interfacing/expansion of the facility’s access control system. As a part of the lighting design process, point-by-point photometric calculations and plans were developed in order to ensure no light pollution and uniform light levels.
Montgomery County Data Center Short Circuit Study/Coordination

- Description: In conjunction with the installation of a new mission critical Data Center, a coordination and short circuit study was performed in order to verify the adequacy of the fault interrupting current ratings of over-current protection devices and equipment. Study also verified and made recommendations for ground fault, long term and short term settings on adjustable breakers in order to assure a well coordinated power distribution system.
Western Correctional Institute

- Description: The project consists of the removal and replacement of ten (10) total electrical geared door operators. Electrical door operators were replaced with pneumatic system consists of a freestanding duplex compressor unit with tank and duplex starter/alternator control panel, a multi-port manifold and a network of concealed piping connecting the door operators and tank. New wiring was installed between the new door operators and the existing door controllers/relay cabinets in order to remotely control and monitor the doors from the existing guard stations.
